NOISE is pleased to announce its appointment by Door County Visitor Bureau (DCVB) as agency of record (AOR). NOISE will provide award-winning expertise to further communicate the brand and brand experience with a focus on web initiatives, social media and advertising for Door County, Wisconsin.

The Door County peninsula and Washington Island extend into Lake Michigan and Green Bay in the northeast corner of Wisconsin. Named one of America’s “Top Ten Vacation Destinations” by Money Magazine (and often referred to as the Cape Cod of the Midwest), the region features more than 300 miles of shoreline, over 30 islands, 10 lighthouses, 5 state parks and 19 county parks, and is known for its natural beauty, outdoor recreation, water sports, unique shopping, visual and performing arts, and value-added lodging (from bed and breakfast to full-service resort).

“We’re extremely excited to begin promoting this celebrated Wisconsin destination,” says NOISE Chairman and Chief Creative Officer, John Sprecher. “Door County is rich with heritage, natural beauty and activity; NOISE is enthused to serve clients and locations like Door County that truly resonate with every visitor.”

NOISE President and Door County account director Mary Parodo added: “We’ve watched Door County grow into a must-visit, must-see, must-do destination in the recent years. Now, we’re eager to spread the word and let the world in on this treasure.”

Tourism is the largest industry in Door County, with traveler expenditures in 2008 totaling more than $483 million. Door County welcomed two million visitors last year and provided an estimated 8,470 full-time-equivalent jobs in the county.
