NOISE, a nationally-acclaimed destination branding agency with 25 years of expertise and 250-plus major industry awards of excellence, announces the launch of a new web brand for Door County Visitor Bureau, the tourism marketing organization for the Door County Peninsula and Washington Island, Wisconsin — named by Money Magazine as a “Top Ten Vacation Destination in North America.” The site is found at www.DoorCounty.com.

Approximately five months in development, the new Door County web brand is a comprehensive, interactive, innovative user experience that captures the charm, pleasure and fun of a vacation to Door County, Wisconsin — in a fresh, lively, robust and exciting format that communicates the region’s new brand message also developed by NOISE, “Your stories. Our setting. Like nowhere else.”

Noting that more than two million visitors enjoy Door County each year, Jack Moneypenny, President and CEO of the organization, commented that “we’re ecstatic about the creation and launch of Door County Visitor Bureau’s new online home. Visitors to our web will love the look and feel of the site — bright, airy, cheerful, easy to navigate, involving, relaxing, all words that describe the Door County vacation experience.”

Developed by NOISE Inter.Active, the web development and web marketing division of NOISE (a 24-year smart, award winning communications agency with offices in Milwaukee, Wis. and Sanibel, Fla.), the new website includes an “Explore the Door” video series, a visitor forum/blog and an interactive map that allows users to choose certain activities and locate these activities within Door County. Understanding the value of the thousands of people who love Door County, www.DoorCounty.com will feature a “Scrapbook Your Visit” element on the new site that incorporates Facebook and ScrapBlog, allowing visitors to share photos, stories and even individual itineraries. There will also be links to Door County Visitor Bureau’s Facebook, YouTube and Twitter pages.

“NOISE Inter.Active has created an exciting, innovative website that is engaging and will be an extreme benefit to the organization and its 1,800 members,” says Mary Parodo, President at NOISE. “Travel and tourism is driven by the Internet, and this site speaks volumes toward welcoming people to Door County.”

“Door County is unique both geographically and to the people who live, work and visit here,” adds Moneypenny. “Just as families and friends gather to create lasting memories along our 300-plus miles of shoreline, this new website will create interaction between people from all over the world who share their love for our beautiful area.”
